Which PRICES INCLUDE GST?? :- This applies to all purchases paid by cash, e-Interac, EMT or Postal Money order, with some exceptions. If an item does NOT include GST when purchased by one of these methods it will be noted on the product page, this usually applies to firearms and consignment sales. All credit/debit card purchases are +GST.
We are happy to accept payment via Visa or Mastercard. However, the shopping cart is NOT able to accept credit card payments! If you wish to pay by credit card for an online order simply EMAIL with your order number and phone number after placing the order. We can call you to process your card payment during our business hours.
Firearms and ammunition purchases: All purchases require a copy of the purchaser’s valid PAL, front and rear to be emailed to info@practicalperformance.ca before the purchase can be processed. Further a Transfer Authorization is now required for all purchases with the exception of a Prescribed Antique or Deactivated firearm. Once your paid order has been submitted and your PAL provided, we will contact you for the information needed to obtain this Transfer Authorization for you. This is to uphold our legal obligation as a Dealer in Canada. Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.
Used Firearms: All firearms are described to the best of our ability and we will be happy to send you more pictures if you feel the need.
Warranties: All new products we sell carry Manufacturers warranties. We are not a warranty depot, any claims need to be submitted directly to the manufacturer or their authorized warranty center for Canada. Surplus ammunition, used items and used firearms carry no warranties of any kind.
Shipping: The size of the package as opposed to the weight is the main factor in shipping cost. We ship Canada Post. If you wish to place a large orders contact us at info@practicalperformance.ca with a list of what you need and we can then give you a shipping cost based on your actual order. Insurance, if desired, is extra. Tracking is not available on the $5 econo shipping that many items qualify for. If you desire tracking contact us and we can give you the tracked shipping options. We are not responsible for losses in the shipping process once it has left our depot. Damage and loss claims must be submitted by the destination with the carrier involved.
Due to shipping regulations we can not ship ammunition, powder or primers via Canada Post. Due to our rural location, we have no other regular shipping option available.
If you wish to prepay for a purchase of ammunition, powder or primers for pickup please email us at info@practicalperformance.ca and we’ll be happy to arrange this for you.
International Shipping: Some items can not be shipped outside of Canada. For items we can ship outside of Canada it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the product can be legally imported by them. The buyer is responsible for any duties or fees incurred at the border. We are not responsible for items, in any way, once they have departed our depot for international delivery. Please email with any questions you have regarding International shipping.
Shopping cart/payments: When using the shopping cart you can pay by e-Interac (emt) only. See above, second paragraph from top, re credit card use.
Back Orders: This site is setup to NOT allow backorders. The reason for this is that items we carry may not always be available for re-order. If something is out of stock by all means email us and we will let you know if we are ordering more or if the availability of the item is uncertain. However, as items can take months to make it across the border and into our warehouse prepaid backorders are NOT accepted. On the items where backorder is allowed you can place the order as normal HOWEVER the product will not be ordered until payment is received as these items are considered “special order”
With the current and proposed changes in the Canadian firearms legislation, OIC’s, directives, policies, pending legislation and amendments we have no idea what will and won’t be possible from day to day. Like you, the public, we are not given any information from the Government before it becomes public and we have no answers for you. We continue to strive to bring the Canadian shooter quality, innovative items.
We base our prices on actual landed cost. All prices therefore are subject to change without notice and are limited to stock on hand.
Dealers/Gunsmiths: On products we import directly as distributors or dealers for foreign companies we do offer “dealer pricing” to licensed Business Firearms Dealers in Canada. Please contact john@practicalperformance.ca if you are interested in products we import directly with a copy of your valid Canadian BFL.
